So I am back in Singapore, to met designers but also, this time, to found a way to work with them... I will do more detailed posts, but here comes some instagram pictures to let you share what I saw in the past 3 days...

Andy Yang said : Late last year, I approached my old friend Pann, Creative Director from Kinetic Singapore if he and his team would be interested in building a brand identity for me and my work and he kindly agreed. Being a multi-disciplinary artist who works with visual and sound, Pann suggested that I create my brand identity collaterals the same way that I create my paintings. This means that I would have to create "live" soundscapes and paint on each and every single namecard, letterhead and envelope. The whole creative process will then be captured on video to better explain my work. It was a brilliant idea to showcase the music and the vibrant, iridescent colours used in my work. Tomorrow morning I will be in plane to Singapore... And I figure out I never present Yong / Somewhere else work. He was one of the first Singapore designers I met in October last year and I was happy to visit is office in december... We will see each other again this time, and here comes some shoots of his work I did last time we talked together...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I already publish Axlif instagram project in the 113/577 ebook, and he seems to be passionate by the app and all which turns around it... So, his new project is now a book about it. The design reminds me the deconstructed editorial design of the Ray Gun magazine, and I just love it !
