Here comes some more of the pages of the 2016 letterpress calendar, only 4% left to reach the goal and with 15 days left, it is already a success. Let see what will happen in the next 2 weeks ! The copperplate edition are selling fast and I do not know if there will be some left at the end of the campaign !
I design this one above and it took even more sense in these dark days...
Here comes some more design. This one is by my friend Renaud Orange who also design this year front cover.
This is an other of my design...
And this last one is a little different with a great image created by Venezuelan artist Rafael Araujo, that I will present in a more details post soon.
And here is a detail of the dates part.

The 5th edition of the Mr Cup letterpress calendar is now available for pre-order at Kickstarter ! As last year, worldwide renowned creatives participate to its creation. It is composed of 14 20x14 cm cards printed on 700g french paper. It is a hand numbered limited edition.
The Special edition comes a copperplate black cover, with a second blind printed design. It comes with copperplate painting edges !
The normal edition has a 2 colors cover printed on white paper. Each page will be printed in one color, and a second one depending on the success of this crowdfunding !
The front cover has been designed by Renaud Orange who already work on the past year edition. We wanted a modern art nouveau !
For this year edition, I ask graphic designer and typographer to create unique font work : Mark Van Leeuwn, Bryan Patrick Todd, Andy Luce, Scott Biersack, Tomasz Biernat, Eric Kass, Joseph Alessio, Salih Kucukaga & Rafael Araujo.

Thanks a lot for the great start on the calendar kickstarter ! My first time on it, so if you have an advice, they are welcomed ! I added mulptiple packs for 5 or 10 but do not want to put too much to not be confusing...
Get your copy of the calendar on kickstarter.
Here comes the "Fake it 'til you make it" created by Mark van Leeuwen, a freelance designer of ... 17 years old ! Impressive ! Here comes why I contact him, his hand drawn inspiring messages...

Last week, that I follow for years, tell me he was in Arles and we can meet! I love sharing about what inspires me on the blog and but nothing like meeting a designer to talk about creation! I also figure out that it is hard to really "follow" people even with all the social media! While I think Salih was still in Istanbul, I figure out he is now in Barcelona after a stay in the States! Someone also tells me I was lucky to live in Ubud, Bali which I left in May 2013...
Here comes some pictures and recent works of Salih...

Check Salih Kucukaga web site and dribbble.
I never really used dribbble, but Salih told me he gets a lot of feedback on his work from it. So it makes me want to put some of the past years projects on it, as I do not update my portfolio often... Check my dribbble page here.
