I spend some hours discovering art galleries and great independant shops guided by Yah-Leng Yu & Arthur Chin of Foreign Policy Design, here in Singapore. It is so great to share time with people in their own city, thanks for that. In 2 days now, I will be in a plane coming back to France. And I figure out our journey just start exactly 1 year ago, in Bangkok (sharing time with Nico, Landry and Alicia, repost it here)...
Since then, we spend 1 month in Thailand, 7 months in Bali, almost 1 month in Singapore and 3 months in France (but travelling from place to place)... We see so much things, live so much unique moments, met so much people... I guess nothing change in France, but we , we have changed ! You can not come back the same from such a journey !

And this is the last Bali place I want to share with you... It is in Semyniak, a more crowded area with shops and restaurants everywhere... I was attracted by the large windows outside of The Bistrot restaurant and love the mix of vintage items and modern fabric... The place is huge, very high and the food is as good as the decoration ! The menu features vintages french ads, so I feel like home...

This is one of my other favorit place in the south of Bali. Not far from Deus Ex Machina, on the road to Echo beach, you can found a small restaurant called "Canteen". Everything is dedicated to vintage surf and skate, with a great collection of posters and records on all the walls. With 70's surfs hanging above your head and great vintages metal chairs and wood tables around, you can have amazing omelets with a great wifi connection... What else !

These are my last days in Bali (for now)... I have spend 7 months here (with some weeks in Singapore). It is the first time I spend so much time abroad, and I guess it is just a beginning... For the past weeks, my wife Frédérique and I have shoot some amazing places we like and inspires us and it is the best time to share them with you... Here comes the first one, Deus ex Machina Temple of Enthusiasm.
I love the Deus brand and the spirit they build around it. This shop/cafe is in the south of Bali, in Canggu, surrounded by rice fields... It is a shop, but they also do customs bikes, motorbikes & surfs... There is an art gallery & a great restaurant...
